How could he be so carefree and relaxed all the time when it feels as if all of Mobius relies on him? Shadow struggles to find peace as he has constant nightmares and thoughts of his past. He lost his only purpose, Why was he even here? Why did he have to be created if all he's ever brought is pain and suffering to those he loves? A human named Alex didn't have a good life on earth, after a walk through the city and found an old lab facility found a gem that glowed and had a surge of power in which that transported him to a new world and unlucky for him fell down a hill and got knocked out. After some time, he woke up and heard an explosion, then went and checked it out. That's when he found Wolflike creature fighting a robot, and she looks like she's having trouble, so he decide to go and help her and that gem he found gave him something that will help his new friends. So let's see what adventure lies for him in this world. They both get their jobs done quickly and easily, loving the life of crime fighting and more money than they need. But now, their fighting the clock to save more than just a citizen or two. After sixteen years, Mephiles has returned. Darker and more power hungry...after failing to defeat and kill Shadow, Sonic and the rest of the gang, he Is going to make sure he gets what he wants this time, by using the power of the chaos emeralds,He infects Shadow with a rabies like disease, called Muskiomal which makes Shadow a ruthless cannabalsitic killer at nightfall. Not only does Mephiles turn Shadow into a killer hedgehog, he forces him to take out revenge on not only on on Mobians but the entire universe as well. But only Amy Rose is aware of Shadow's illness after witnessing Shadow consuming human and Mobian remains behind a restaurant dumpster. Amy vows to keep Shadow's condition a secret not only for the safety of Sonic and the gang but for the universe...but if G.U.N finds out the ultimate life form and their top agent as dangerous... it could result in him being held captive, being detained against his will and experimented on as long as possible. Despite the life threatening situation, Shadow and Amy's connection grows closer and closer which ultimately leads to them having an affair which eventually leads them to being together, much to the disdain of not only Sonic, but to the entire group, unfortunately, it later becomes a weakness which will give Mephiles a possible one up against the team Will Amy and the rest of the crew find a cure for Shadow's condition or will he forever be Mephiles' murderous puppet?
