All quiet in the Lands Between: An Elden Ring fanfiction

Hundreds of years passed since the Shattering, and the Lands Between was suffering a steady decline. Life was nowhere to be seen, and the demigods who used to rule with order now roamed their former realms like madmen.

The Erdtree glows with a lifeless light, a beacon to remind those who gaze upon it the loss of what's good in the land. They're abandoned, forsaken and unfortunate.

For hundreds of years, those who hoped for a change awaited the return of someone who will bring back the Lands Between. Yet these Tarnished who came to their shores died at the hands of their own follies - for their ambition and greed guided their hands to their demise.

It seems that salvation is but a myth...

Yet deep underground, sheltered in a sarcophagus, lies the hope of the Two Fingers - an angel who is destined to be Lord of the Lands Between.

When the ground has shed it's tears, the chains holding him shall buckle and fall. And when he wakes, he shall set his eyes on the steps of the Elden Throne.

And the land once again shall know his name, and watch as he ushers a new dawn for the cursed land.
