The Flaming Heart follows Odelina, who is a pixie, as she is kicked out of the Ezzarith, the pixies' land and taken in by the aen laite, humans who have a connection with dragons and are the pixies' enemy. Odelina has odd wings and has been ostracized by the pixies for it. Her mother was taken away when she was a year old and she never knew her father. Odelina falls in love with the general of the aen laite, Zefira. She also discovers that her mother was a pixie and her father was an aen laite. The Flaming Heart is approximately 60,000 words and is Young Adult fantasy with an intended age range of 16-20. I think Future House Publishing would be a good fit for my novel because you publish a lot of fantasy and my novel is fantasy. Additionally, on your website it says you want novels that focus on community. A central part of my novel is about community and connecting with others.
