Before the Barricades

Adeline was always different.

The only member of her family who encouraged her "crazy ideas" was her brother Combferre. Her mother, strongly advised Adeline to quiet down, and settle down. But when Adeline accidently discovers one of Combeferre's biggest secrets, she is thrown into a world of revolution, and a chance at freedom.

Unknown to everyone but her mother, Adeline's past has a strong link to the past and future of the revolution. But when a certain leader, finds this out, he makes it a priority to get Adeline on the side of revolution. Through his attempts of recruitment something between the two sparks flames much greater than revolution.

Could this be Adeline's chance at a better life, or is the revolution the only way?
