Honor of the Dragonborn
Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.Complete

Ylva is only a few months away from delivering their third child, but he fears that he must follow this dream. If he trusts his instincts, he could finally uncover the truth about his past. Who were his parents? Where were they when he and Farkas were kidnapped? Are they still out there? Determined to find the truth, Vilkas enlists the help of his brother, and together, the brothers set off to learn what they can about who they are. As they march across Skyrim searching for clues, a nagging thought plagues Vilkas's every waking moment. What if they weren't ready to learn the truth?
