Merw has only known darkness in her life under the sea. Her clan has strict rules which revolve around honouring Mother Sea, only that Merw yearns for something more, for a life of her own. She still has no idea what that exactly means until she meets Shally, a mermaid who is as humanoid-looking as her, and boy does she have a whole new world to show her. By her side, Merw will discover that there is light and warmth, that oppression can be desguised as love, and that love... well, love has way too many different shapes, and she's ready to discover them all.
Why has her clan kept so many secrets from her? Where did the bright Shally come from? What is there to see in the human world? And why do sirens act the way they do? Dive deep into this LGBTQ+ story with me!

I'm writing a book about sirens and merpeople (yes, different things) and want opinions as I go along with the story and some support so I can continue writing! Sophia is part of the crew on the Major after hearing rumours the captain decided she has to die But as she was drowning she found a new power within her an turns into a siren Follow Sophia and her, later found, best friend Lucy on their adventures while discovering more and more of Sophia's powers. And I smell a romance between the friends blossoming And I have already written their get together scene so that is a promise I intend to keep ;) It's gonna be rated Mature when I post that scene, but until then it's off And that scene doesn't really hold any plot so you can skip it (I'll put a warning before and tell you when it's over though)

Those who were taken... They never came back, dragged beneath the waves never to return. Their haunting screams were a symbol of their horrific deaths. Like shadows they lay in wait, the deep blue waters hiding them from view. With sharp claws they attack, Pointed fangs tearing into skin, Eager mouths devouring human flesh. Cally was taken, dragged under the water by one of the vicious creatures. But she was not devoured nor torn apart by ruthless claws--no. She was a captive. ~•~ Water instantly invades her senses. The twins of a water G-D
Just like her brother she has dyslexia but can read Greek somehow and she can hold her breath underwater for long time and she doesn't speak a lot. There's a reason or that. See their mother is mortal but their father is the G-D of the sea. But all her twin brother Percy knows is that he thinks their father left them. They really don't belong in this world they have powers but all magic comes with a price I fear. For one their mother remarried to this pig he has no respect for women and hates herself and her brother but the reason why is because of his horrid smell it keeps those that want to hurt them away from them other immortals like their father. They pretty much live their lives in the water and they can do things with water like their father but he doesn't know it and the only reason they have the problems they do is because of their powers those problems go away when they're in the half blood world with other demi-G-Ds like them in that world she's a mermaid, legs on land and tail in the water, and the not talking so much she has a beautiful voice, but its part of her powers her singing is like a siren song.Terminé

He opened the door and studied me. I hissed at him as he approached the edge of the boat. "Let me go, human." He chuckled. "Not a chance, fish. He tries to get lose, but only manages to get himself bound tighter in the ropes. Captured by human scientists, kept in a tank on land. Far from his home, scared and alone. Nathaniel works at the marine research center for his uncle. When he finds the siren in a tank far too small to contain a wild creature, he knows that the merman isn't happy there. He's trying to figure out a way to free him. Little does he know, he's not exactly human, and his uncle is hiding a big secret that might change his life. What if I told you the seawitch was only called a seawitch because their kind could perform magic and spells, but merfolk feared them for superstitious reasons?
