Sanem Aydin is living her dream life in Paris, as she is about to graduate from college with the intention of starting a company and launching her own line of perfumes. She had worked hard to get to where she was and couldn't wait to start her new life on her own. But she is needed back in Istanbul to help with her family's publishing house. Would she have to give up her dreams forever? Love had eluded her which was absolutely fine with her. She didn't think she'd ever find true love anyway.
Can Divit is from a quaint mohalle in Istanbul and dreams of becoming a successful writer one day in the Galapagos Islands. His father, who owns a small photography studio, hoped Can would take over the family business one day. Just out of university, he was excited about his new position at the most prestigious publishing house in Istanbul. What will his future hold, he wonders? He dreamed of finding true love but it had been elusive until that fateful night in a dark theatre.
Welcome to my 3rd fan fiction about the Erkenci Kus characters, Can and Sanem. Their love story is my absolute obsession and I have loved meeting other fans through my books. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will enjoy writing it!

EK: Canem, impossible not to (A "Shorty", or...kind of)
Sanem lost her parents and older sister in a car accident when she was only eight. Mirhiban, the wife of Aziz Divit, the owner of the hotel where Sanem's father had been the manager until the moment he passed away, was a very loving and endearing woman; her heart almost broke when she found out about the little girl left behind and quickly organized for her to stay with her and her family. Her own sons, Can and Emre, were already teenagers; Can was a sweet sixteener and Emre...a grouchy fourteener, so a little girl to take care of was just what she needed. From the moment Can met this...tiny but so beautiful little girl with her big, dark deer eyes, he felt a very special bond between them. Mirhiban felt it too and happily noticed that Sanem trusted her eldest son ever since. Can spent all the time he could with 'his little babygirl' and helped her get through the loss of her own family. But both of them would grow up into adults, and...what about that 'special bond' between the sweet sixteener and that so tiny and beautiful little girl when that happens..? Can Yaman is an internationally known actor and model. His shows have had great success but he hasn't been able to find that special woman to share his life with..yet. True love has eluded her so she hasn't found the man she was meant to spend her life with..yet. Join me for my second fanfiction based on my deep love for the Erkenci Kus series. This one is a little different as I'm telling my story from a real life point of view. I fell in love with Can Yaman after watching the series and have followed him as he has traversed love, his career, his charity and all the challenges he has faced. We are grateful that he shares so much with his fans. In the story, Sanem is a fan of Can's and goes with some friends to hopefully meet him during the Break the Wall tour and like they say...the rest is history. Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Concluida
One life one love
Sanem and Leyla's parents tragically past away when the girls were very young, the girls were separated and placed in two different foster homes, they were promised that eventually they would be together but unfortunately they never saw each other again for ten years. Sanem's foster mother and daughter were very cruel to her growing up. But being the dreamer she is helped her throughout the years. She couldn't wait to be eighteen to leave the prison. Soon she will be free to live her life, and who knows her dreams might come true one day to meet her prince. Can Divit is a famous for his photography, and for a couple TV series that he was in, but his passions is definitely photography. He's a traveler, he travels to exotic places, and to poverty stricken places. Can has a hard time staying in one place but he knows eventually he will be back in Istanbul working for his father one day. It's funny how things can change in an instant, There love won't be easy, but love does conquer all.Concluida

While trying to expose one of the biggest political scandal in Turkey, Can is framed for homicide. Sanem is given the case to gather evidence for an apparently guilty suspect. Once Can and Sanem's worlds collide, nothing will ever be the same again. This is an AU story of Erkenci Kus.The characters are not exactly the same as the show but certain aspects of their personalities are kept.
