Sanem Aydin is living her dream life in Paris, as she is about to graduate from college with the intention of starting a company and launching her own line of perfumes. She had worked hard to get to where she was and couldn't wait to start her new life on her own. But she is needed back in Istanbul to help with her family's publishing house. Would she have to give up her dreams forever? Love had eluded her which was absolutely fine with her. She didn't think she'd ever find true love anyway.
Can Divit is from a quaint mohalle in Istanbul and dreams of becoming a successful writer one day in the Galapagos Islands. His father, who owns a small photography studio, hoped Can would take over the family business one day. Just out of university, he was excited about his new position at the most prestigious publishing house in Istanbul. What will his future hold, he wonders? He dreamed of finding true love but it had been elusive until that fateful night in a dark theatre.
Welcome to my 3rd fan fiction about the Erkenci Kus characters, Can and Sanem. Their love story is my absolute obsession and I have loved meeting other fans through my books. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will enjoy writing it!

Sanem lost her parents and older sister in a car accident when she was only eight. Mirhiban, the wife of Aziz Divit, the owner of the hotel where Sanem's father had been the manager until the moment he passed away, was a very loving and endearing woman; her heart almost broke when she found out about the little girl left behind and quickly organized for her to stay with her and her family. Her own sons, Can and Emre, were already teenagers; Can was a sweet sixteener and Emre...a grouchy fourteener, so a little girl to take care of was just what she needed. From the moment Can met this...tiny but so beautiful little girl with her big, dark deer eyes, he felt a very special bond between them. Mirhiban felt it too and happily noticed that Sanem trusted her eldest son ever since. Can spent all the time he could with 'his little babygirl' and helped her get through the loss of her own family. But both of them would grow up into adults, and...what about that 'special bond' between the sweet sixteener and that so tiny and beautiful little girl when that happens..? While trying to expose one of the biggest political scandal in Turkey, Can is framed for homicide. Sanem is given the case to gather evidence for an apparently guilty suspect. Once Can and Sanem's worlds collide, nothing will ever be the same again. This is an AU story of Erkenci Kus.The characters are not exactly the same as the show but certain aspects of their personalities are kept. Can Divit is a famous for his photography, and for a couple TV series that he was in, but his passions is definitely photography. He's a traveler, he travels to exotic places, and to poverty stricken places. Can has a hard time staying in one place but he knows eventually he will be back in Istanbul working for his father one day. 10 Minutes
10 minutes can be an eternity or a blink of an eye depending on where you're standing. For Sanem Aydin it was all the time it took to loose what she loved more than life itself, but she wouldn't look back. Those ten minutes showed her that her love was not reciprocated in kind and that it had all been an illusion crafted by an experienced seducer upon a naive and foolish girl. But that would be the last time that would ever happen to her. 10 minutes more and she's be flying over her homeland and away from her heartache. 10 minutes later she was falling asleep with a sob choking her to escape and tears burning behind her eyes. 10 minutes later and she was being carried to the bedroom at the back of the jet in the arms of the man she had crushed on so many years ago and who had swept in like a hero to save her. In 10 minutes she would be his if only he would ask. 10 minutes or less. 10 minutes was all it took to see him drunk. 10 minutes later Can Divit had a companion. 10 minutes more was all he needed to get the blond into his bed. 10 minutes was all it took to realize he had made a horrible mistake, but his ego and his pride wouldn't let him turn around and go back. When he finally came to his senses after swimming in his own guilt for weeks on end he all but ran to buy a ticket back home but he was 10 minutes too late. Flights were sold out. For the next 10 minutes he called her number but there was no response. The night would be endless but when he finally made it back he may as well have been a ghost. It was his fault he knew it and he was prepared to crawl back on hands and knees. He begged for 10 minutes of her time. Just 10 minutes to explain but she was gone and it would take what felt like a lifetime before he saw her again. 10 minutes to fall in love again.
