Can Divit is from a quaint mohalle in Istanbul and dreams of becoming a successful writer one day in the Galapagos Islands. His father, who owns a small photography studio, hoped Can would take over the family business one day. Just out of university, he was excited about his new position at the most prestigious publishing house in Istanbul. What will his future hold, he wonders? He dreamed of finding true love but it had been elusive until that fateful night in a dark theatre.
Welcome to my 3rd fan fiction about the Erkenci Kus characters, Can and Sanem. Their love story is my absolute obsession and I have loved meeting other fans through my books. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will enjoy writing it!

One life one love
Sanem and Leyla's parents tragically past away when the girls were very young, the girls were separated and placed in two different foster homes, they were promised that eventually they would be together but unfortunately they never saw each other again for ten years. Sanem's foster mother and daughter were very cruel to her growing up. But being the dreamer she is helped her throughout the years. She couldn't wait to be eighteen to leave the prison. Soon she will be free to live her life, and who knows her dreams might come true one day to meet her prince. Can Divit is a famous for his photography, and for a couple TV series that he was in, but his passions is definitely photography. He's a traveler, he travels to exotic places, and to poverty stricken places. Can has a hard time staying in one place but he knows eventually he will be back in Istanbul working for his father one day. 10 Minutes
10 minutes can be an eternity or a blink of an eye depending on where you're standing. For Sanem Aydin it was all the time it took to loose what she loved more than life itself, but she wouldn't look back. Those ten minutes showed her that her love was not reciprocated in kind and that it had all been an illusion crafted by an experienced seducer upon a naive and foolish girl. But that would be the last time that would ever happen to her. 10 minutes more and she's be flying over her homeland and away from her heartache. 10 minutes later she was falling asleep with a sob choking her to escape and tears burning behind her eyes. 10 minutes later and she was being carried to the bedroom at the back of the jet in the arms of the man she had crushed on so many years ago and who had swept in like a hero to save her. In 10 minutes she would be his if only he would ask. 10 minutes or less. 10 minutes was all it took to see him drunk. 10 minutes later Can Divit had a companion. 10 minutes more was all he needed to get the blond into his bed. 10 minutes was all it took to realize he had made a horrible mistake, but his ego and his pride wouldn't let him turn around and go back. When he finally came to his senses after swimming in his own guilt for weeks on end he all but ran to buy a ticket back home but he was 10 minutes too late. Flights were sold out. For the next 10 minutes he called her number but there was no response. The night would be endless but when he finally made it back he may as well have been a ghost. It was his fault he knew it and he was prepared to crawl back on hands and knees. He begged for 10 minutes of her time. Just 10 minutes to explain but she was gone and it would take what felt like a lifetime before he saw her again. 10 minutes to fall in love again. Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Concluída

Mostly is about to try to understand how deep their feelings got for each other in a very short time, how bad jealousy can be, how it can hurt and how it can make a person act. I am quite romantic, so a happy ending is a must! And some sex as well, (as sex was not needed in EK but would have been appreciated, for sure) at least I will give it a try. =) My story is definitely not so conservative as EK, characters are not being so traditional, it's about a more modern lifestyle.
