The End Justifies The Means

There was a time when I thought I could do it the "right" way. That if I worked hard enough, played by the rules, I'd make it.

But the rules weren't written for people like me. So, I bent them. Broke them, even. I told myself it was necessary. That no one gets anywhere without getting their hands dirty.

I always tell myself the end justifies the means because, if it doesn't... what does that make me?
