Mia and her son, Brant, are on the run, but who is she running from? Suspicious calls, drive-bys, and a threat on her life propelled her to leave all behind and flee. But to where? Where will she find safety for herself and her nine-year-old son? The tragic death of her husband opened a Pandora's box of evil that she must now face and solve for her and her son's sake. And who is this man who seems so willing to help? Hadn't her experience taught her not to trust anyone?

WRITERS NOTES: *This story is in the works of getting a cover photo for the book -- also would be interested in getting feedback if you do stumble upon this story, it's a short story in the works. If I get nice feedback, I'll post another story that I am also working on (no relation to this story). *This story is also a short story, about sixty-two pages long, nearly thirty-thousand typed words. *This story is also finished.
