A complicated past (Ghost x Y/n )

No matter how much one tried, their past was never truly buried.

The demons that lurked within it, always had a funny way of resurfacing when Y/n felt their happiest; or as close to happy they have ever felt in their life.

Was moving on and letting go possible after the life Y/n led before meeting the 141 task force?

Could the nurse that dulled her once sharp edges to protect the ones she loved, truly move on?

Could someone that's lived in fight or flight mode since birth, really let old habits die?

Or would those old habits only promise her demise?

Y/n had come to terms with that possibility a long ago, until now. Until him.

A man that exuded danger in everything he did. A man who followed orders to the T and executed on command. Until now. Until her.

Drawn to her like a moth to a flame, Ghost found her fire unforgiving and chaotic. And instead of wanting to douse it, he found himself wanting to teach her how to control it. To help her find beauty and peace amongst her flames.

But some demons are hard to exorcise, even harder when the worst of them reside within you.

He's determined to fight for her survival. At any cost. But can she allow him to help or will she ride backseat as she lets her demons out to play?

Because what they say it true, " A wounded animal will bite and claw. And it often cannot tell friend from foe."
