Charlotte is a fun, flirty, 18 year old teenager. The only thing getting in the way of her enthusiastic free spirit is her terminal cancer.
Charlotte has Lymphoma which is a cancer that causes the cells in the lymphatic system to abnormally reproduce, eventually making the body less able to fight infection. When she finds out she only has 5 months to live she asks her parents to visit the one place she's always wanted to go to, San Francisco, California. There she meets the sexiest surfer dude, Jay Alvarrez that really knows how to make Charlotte feel alive. But will she have enough time?
