Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM) constitutes a comprehensive set of guidelines and best practices essential for achieving optimal results in printed part designs. Additive Manufacturing (AM), commonly referred to as 3D printing (3DP), encompasses a variety of technologies including Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), among others.
