One day the little cat named mittens decided to go for an adventure in the woods, he knew that his mother had always told him 'stay away from the woods' but it looked so so fun so he decided to go anyway. He snuck out of the house through the cat flap, ran through the bushes and when he got to the woods and was so excited but he thought about what his mother said and he knew that he wanted this more than ever so he went past the first tree he heard a loud crackling sound and just when he was about to run he realized that it was only a little mouse and started chasing it around the trees and dead bushes. When he finished chasing the mouse it was too late he was lost! Mittens was scared and just then he hear little foot steps and out of the bush jumped!!!!!!!!!!........... His mum! He was worried but relieved mother took him home and put him to bed it would be along time before he wandered far from home again

Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous.
