The Undercity, much like its people, has been outcasted, wounded, and deemed unworthy by the so-called City Of Progress. Yet, there are those who survive, those who thrive, and those who continue to fight on. Even more, there are those who do it all together.

Y/N is a boy who lost everything but gained more when the right people and the right person found him. He'd have it no other way than to struggle alongside the girl who means more than the world. Sadly, as with everything in this life, it doesn't last forever.

You can never stop suffering, only control it. People try to sympathize and try to care, but they only pretend, they can never understand. Right or wrong, it doesn't matter what I am, because I'm the cure for this sick, sad world.

WARNING: THINGS SUCH AS CRUDE LANGUAGE, VIOLENCE, RAPE, SEX, AND DEATH ARE COVERED IN THIS BOOK. I WILL ALSO PUT A WARNING FOR SUPER SENSITIVE TOPICS IN THE CHAPTERS THEY ARE IN.

Y/n grew up in the underground. Where he lived in a constant state of fear and survival. Never knowing where his next meal would be coming from. His parents followed Vander across the river hoping that a better life for their children was possible. But instead, they lost their lives in the pursuit of a better one. Leaving Y/n with a mountain of regrets, his father's shield, and the will to survive. But on that bridge where Y/n saw his old life burn to the ground. He witnessed a new one rise in its place. And it came in the form of two sisters.
