He'd been the perfect stranger.

Until he wasn't.

Appointed by name, Grace had no idea what was in store when she'd walked into an interrogation room containing the one man she'd never imagined working with.

Seth was her father's business partner- practically the only thing she knew about him. He was a familiar stranger in other words- glances between the two of them shared as Grace grew up in the house her father worked out of.

She wasn't sure what they did, but her father was ex-military so she assumed he'd been on one of her father's missions. She'd never bothered asking about Seth because he was never brought up and if things weren't brought up- it was no body's business.

However now the 'business' was sitting in an interrogation room, requesting her by name. Neither of them anticipated for how detrimental that simple request would become.
