ON PAUSE
Shadow felt complete with Sonic. The love he felt for his former rival was immeasurable. But eventually, Sonic emotionally abuses/manipulates Shadow, such as failing to give Shadow any attention but getting upset when he's been "ignored." At first, Shadow blames himself for the behavior, but only when a familiar villain returns does Shadow see the truth. But it scares him.
Ok, so the reason why Sonic is the bad guy is because I thought MY toxic ex was a good person, and my current partner was deemed as a bad guy. That should ease any and all confusion!
This isn't a serious serious story, just me talking about my experience with a similar kind of relationship. Everything Shadow thinks is exactly what I thought, sometimes even less intense. So yeah, this'll be a lot. And no set schedule, nor will there ever be one. this is literally me coping. So yeah.
TW: self harm thoughts/ideation, self hate, emotional abuse, panic/anxiety attacks, toxic relationship.
