This is my own au of Beast Boy joining the Titans! Beast Boy was stolen from an orphanage after his parents died. His captors made him their own personal entertainment and treated him like a circus animal. They abused him terribly. But one day, when the Titans get a lock on their location, Beast Boy is saved. What will happen as he learns who he really is? Is his green skin and transformative ability a good thing? Would the Titans accept him for who he is? Would HE accept himself for who he is?

The blood had already leaked down my forehead, but I kept my eyes on Shane and tried to blink quickly to clear my vision. "Hang on, please. Please hang on." He pleaded, holding my body up to a sitting position. I couldn't even remember what had struck me and I was getting nervous by Shane's worried face. "I'm... it hurts." I mumbled. "I'm so sorry." He held me closer. This time tears started to form in his dark green eyes but I could tell Shane didn't want to cry in front of me. I probably should've just listened to him from the start when he said don't go outside in this weather, but me being pissy with him and wanting to prove a point- I did and now I'm laying on the wet grass with a gash on my temple and an even bigger one on my leg.
