The wind whispered between the floorboards. The rotten, dead wood creaked with every gust of wind. The rain congregated in puddles around the poor, pathetic, green boy.

"You lousy piece of shit!" The tall, fat man spat, cracking his whip on the boy's back. He yelped and gasped in pain.

"You're a pathetic little freak! You don't belong anywhere! Scum like you deserves nothing more than to starve to death."

This is my own au of Beast Boy joining the Titans! Beast Boy was stolen from an orphanage after his parents died. His captors made him their own personal entertainment and treated him like a circus animal. They abused him terribly. But one day, when the Titans get a lock on their location, Beast Boy is saved. What will happen as he learns who he really is? Is his green skin and transformative ability a good thing? Would the Titans accept him for who he is? Would HE accept himself for who he is?

THERE WILL BE SH AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES AS WELL AS ABUSE FROM PAST. (There will also be lots of BB Rae bc thays what this book is also about)
