Welcome to 365 Days of Drabbles! "What are drabbles?" You may ask. "A drabble is a short work of fiction of precisely one hundred words in length. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space." -Google Each Drabble will seem like it's random, but the more you read, the more you'll realize that they seem to be something of the same world... ~~~~~ A/N: I would love to become a better writer. Practicing daily and engaging my brain (whom I call Brian) is a way I'd like to challenge myself to do better. I can't guarantee I'll be able to post every day, but I can promise that this book will be finished once I hit 365 drabbles! (Such a fun word) Credits to the website I get my prompts from (because there's no way I'm coming up with it on my own, I force myself to get inspired based on the title of each day off this website): https://thinkwritten.com/365-creative-writing-prompts/ Feedback + thoughts are welcome! Please do constructive criticism, don't be a jerk. I won't accept that stuff :) Also don't steal my work without my permission- I will find you. Now that we've got all that out of the way- please enjoy!

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.
