The year is 2133 and the world has regressed. In the aftermath of The War of 2015, a civil war worse than the first one, the United States has been reduced to kingdoms. It was thought that if one person could not adequately guide the country than 8 monarchies could. The country was split up and 8 families were chosen to rule the different kingdoms. For the most part, they are civil with each other. However, the former U.S. has been cut off from the rest of the world.
