During what was supposed to be a ground-breaking weekend at Jurassic Park, Dr. Evelyn Harper, a paleo-geneticist, and Dr. Michael Bennett, a wildlife veterinarian, are invited by John Hammond to witness the marvels of the world's first dinosaur theme park. Clarissa Hammond
The first book following the first installation of Jurrasic Park. Clarissa Hammond is the youngest daughter of John Hammond. Clarissa is a paleontologist alongside Dr. Alan Grant and is good friends with Ellie Sattler. Being almost thirty-one years old and adopted by the CEO of InGen and Jurrasic Park at ten years old, Clarissa believes that she is old enough to decide for herself.
