SYNOPSIS
Ruby is the daughter of the legendary assassination family, the Walton family. Ruby harbors hatred for how her powerful family lives in the shadows and decides she will run away.
The Walton family has always been overprotective of their only daughter, even though she is more skilled than most family members.
They saw it fit that Ruby was meant to be protected within the four walls of their massive and heavily guarded estate.
After Five years of trying and failing, Ruby managed to get out of the cage her family placed her in since she was born and ventures on an adventure of her own. It was all fun and fabulous till a Lycan King kidnaps her, claiming she is his mate.
Ruby had no plans to be caged by anyone again, but the Lycan king wouldn't let her leave.

Lucian King is the king of Lycans. He comes from a long line of Lycan royalty, and for generations, it has been a tradition for the king of Lycans to choose a queen, mate, or not.
In fear that he will turn rabid and with significant threats to the throne, Lucian does not wish to find his mate for fear that she will be hunted.
The death of the Queen of Lycans spells the end to everything the Lycan king touches, and no one is strong enough to defeat the king.
Meeting Ruby was the last thing Lucian wanted. He was supposed to be happy; his mate wanted absolutely nothing to do with him, but it infuriated him to the core. Lucian will destroy towns to get to his mate, kill anyone who touches her, and kidnap his runaway mate over and over again.
Lucian's stubborn mate pulls all his strings till he snaps and names her Queen, much to her dismay. Now, war is on the way, and the Lycans will have to prepare for battle against the Rouge Lycans and the Vampire Kingdom, their mortal enemies.
