Their new mission: find the freed 7000 vampire spawn and teach them how to survive without causing a bloodbath. But Arista has a second mission, a secret mission. Finding a cure for Astarion's vampirism to give him a chance to walk in the sun again without the bloodlust but also without immortality. It's supposed to be a surprise but all leads she has found so far turn out to be a dead end. Her last option: Asking a gift of the Goddess she has worshipped ever since her family fled Menzoberranzan. But what she is asking proves to be too much for a lesser deity such as Eilistraee. The Goddess however does know a way... With the stakes raised Arista can no longer keep her secret from her lover. Will he embrace mortality for them, for himself knowing what it might cost the Paladin at his side? Or will he watch his true love age and die at his side, sparing her from the pain the path in front of them promises?

As the Ash Settles, is my take on what happens to the group of companions after saving Baldur's Gate. As the ash settles and the drinks are pouring a familiar sensation washes over our Tav, the very same one that compelled her to attack poor Alfira in her slumber, perhaps defeating her sister was not just denying her father but in fact taking back her rightful spot as leader of the Bhaalspawn, perhaps Withers was indeed wrong. Questions left unanswered while still having to find a special artifact for Astarion to walk and in the sun and still beating heart to fear Karlach. Rated M for Mature. Will include adult behaviors, some violence and well just stuff from the game itself. Don't worry though not a finger will be laid on the goodest boy Scratch. After defeating the Cult of Bhaal, a copycat is continuing the murders. Before the party can deal with Gortash, they must stop the killer. Solana is a high elf magistrate in the Upper City and is next on the list to die. Bhaal, the killings, and the party play a larger role in her life than she could have realized. The seeds of death have been sown. I also take a few creative liberties for the story. Nothing crazy, just things to help deepen the story. I don't own any characters, names, places, or ideas of the Baldur's Gate 3 game or Dungeons and Dragons. Larian Studios created Baldur's Gate 3, and Wizards of the Coast owns Dungeons and Dragons, a subsidiary of Hasbro.

Goodbye Astarion [Astarion X NB Tav] by ItsFinnleyMan

Astarion ascended just like he wanted. Tav helped just like he asked. People change just like they were warned. Fair warning: Ascended Astarion is the villain, Tav frequently disassociates and justifies Astarion's behavior to themselves and the other companions. Domestic violence is implied but not depicted out-right. Verbal abuse is kept to a minimum. Two major characters will die eventually. An alternative epilogue at Withers' party. Still in progress but I feel inspired and it's a short one. I will probably update frequently I haven't written fanfiction in 11 years. Go easy on me lol Finally, this work has been cross-posted here and on AO3. These are the only places I have published it, if you're reading this somewhere else it's been stolen.

Meanwhile, in Larned The Misfits are trying to find Zacchya and figure out the truth behind her disappearance and other horrifying events. The questions are numerous and they are the only ones trying to find the truth. However, it might cost more than their lives. No one will come out unchanged, as Jacob's past and future unfold. Answers will come but at a cost.
