Romeo, a poetic teenager is asked to write a poem for St. Valentine for a prayer ceremony at the church on Valentine's Day. But he would only write such poem for his beloved Juliet. When he meets St. Valentine on his way home, Romeo thinks that his troubles are over. But are they? When he asks for advice from the saint, his only response is that Romeo and Juliet "was not just meant to be." Shouldn't Romeo's true love be enough to fuel their relationship and keep it going? What will be Romeo's decision? Will he choose to follow the saint's advice and wait for destiny? or will his rebellious spirit overrule him and make him follow his heart? Will he write his own destiny? This short story was written as an entry for the 2000 word Short Story contest "Is this Love or Something Else?" by @AmbassadorsUKAll Rights Reserved
