All Ambrose Nymeria knows is a life of secrets and keeping her true identity hidden. Being on the run since seven years old and having a plethora of aliases, she has managed to do just that for the last fourteen years. As the protege of a well-known pirate, she managed to make a name for herself as a skilled swordswoman and the rumors of a lone survivor of not only one, but two island destructions seemed to lay themselves to rest.

When a certain pirate crew finds their way to her job and home, she sets sail with them in hopes of finding herself, and any surviving family members she may have out in the world.

But exploring the world and searching for answers doesn't come without consequence, and keeping herself hidden would prove more difficult than she could ever have imagined. The threat of being captured is always on her heels- with each island they visit the threat grows larger as does the bounty on her head. If her childhood friend could find her so easily, who's to say her enemies can't either?
