I Kally Marie Sky was a somewhat normal girl until the day my parents decided to move halfway around the world to a place where men look down on women like they are cows. I'm not exaggerating either, at age 16 girls get their names put in the 'Marrage' drawing. When the guys turn 18, they get their names put in too. On January 1st every year, the concil draws 1 name from each box and put them together. They match up all the names. Those two names mean so much to the council, they are the names of the newly weds. There's a catch though, you can't back out of the marriage. Also in 12 months each girl has to either be close to 8 months pregnant or have the the baby. If not then the girl will get shunned from the village or be murdered. The women don't get a say in anything, they are ruled by their 'masters' and have to do everything they say. What will I ever do? My 16th birthday is on December 30th and I was supposed to be having my big birthday bash on the beach, instead I'm getting my name put into 'The Box Of Hell'!
