The rise of a star

I, Luciana Garcia, recently moved to an apartment in New York City from Brazil 'just' so my model career could grow.

And one day, I was just walking peacefully, until a sudden voice snapped back into reality.
"Luciana, is it really you?" The familiar voice of my best friend was heard from behind me. And when I turned around, I got met with the one and only; Hazel fucking Ford.

We used to be friends ever since we were kids, but once we finished school, I moved back to Brazil and from there on we kinda just lost contact. But here she was, standing in front of me.

We decided to grab a coffee together, and then she told me that she worked for the Starstruck Agency, basically a design/ model company, and she told me that she could put in a good word of me to her boss. Which I happily agreed to.

But what happens when the real reason as to why she left Brazil comes back at her, full force?
