I would like to cite swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist: Everything in my book really happened, just in different way.
The story is about the plight of a fifteen-year-old boy in a correctional facility, where he got there in such a way that he himself does not know how and where he find himself surrounded by people, who awake inside of him tendencies, which he would like to kept hidden.
Although it will appear that way, it does not take place in Russia, Ukraine or Belarus, although most of the characters are Russian. I don't want to place it exactly in time either, but the clues and hints will be there. According to the signs, the reader can have an idea of the direction the poor boy's fate will take. I hope not that you will like it, but that it will interest you and maybe even force you to think about current and quite recent phenomena, prejudices (I'm not saying that you have them), stigmas and the past that many of us have in common.

Something Like Fall
The continuation of my previous story Something Like Summer. This is the 2nd part of the trilogy, with the last being Something Like Spring. It has passed 2 years since Oskar met Aaron for the first time. They haven't talked to each other since then. Aaron lives his best life with his friends and girlfriend, as a popular boy. He quickly forgot about Oskar. Oskar also has his accountable friends, but the day he met Aaron for the first time in 2013 he fell in love with him. He tried to hide it for a long time. One year later in summer 2014 Oskar finally admits to himself he's in love with Aaron, but it seems like their ways had been separated for good. Another year flies by, and now we have the autumn of 2015. 14-years old Oskar begins his 3rd and last grade of junior high school in Poland. The boy tries to accept the fact that Aaron, 16, ended the same junior high school a few months ago and that he won't be seeing him on corridors anymore during breaks. They meet though, at the same school. One incident will bring closer boys to each other for the first time. However, Aaron is clearly only into girls. Oskar feels attracted to boys but still doesn't admit to himself that he might be gay and generally is in denial. What will happen between them- friendship, love, hatred? Maybe nothing? I just wrote all of this and then I accidentally deleted it as well as the book cover. I'm somewhat infuriated atm. The book was written as I fell in love for the first time, while in the Swedish equivalent of High School so it should be one hell of a ride ;) It may need some updating and I'll get to that some day, but it's perfectly readable in the meantime. A lot of my friends have approved the book as well. It is dedicated to my former best friend Adam, whom also was my biggest fan I think. Anywhoo, the book is about a boy named Ethan Bennett, his best friends Matt and Diana, his half-brother Josh and their friend Sophie. Later you'll also be introduced to Isabelle May. It's a feel good story about a loving high school friend group. I think that's all I'm going to say... Happy reading :) Oh and also, my characters aren't going through anything extremely traumatic, but just like most teens nowadays they all have their struggles with life and mental health and so on.
