A prophecy was given to the Realm of Valeera, but only one kingdom took heed of it and set forth a law that would divide the people into two groups. The Fair and the Strange. One group possesses a promise of peace while the other is doomed for eternity. Well, that's what the people believed... Born with purple eyes, 18-year-old Mageia Unknown knows one thing, if she's ever caught, she could be executed because of it. Being the leader of a group of Strange youths living on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Ardania, she makes it her duty to take care of her family, no matter the cost. But when an act of heroism goes wrong, she discovers her fate is entwined with a prophecy that may force her to sacrifice everything she loves and believes in. 18-year-old Grisonce Arlon is not the most respected prince in the kingdom. Despite his defect that taints the royal bloodline, he is urged to find a wife to be accepted by other Fairs. But his interests lie in something far greater. When his obsession with the Fairest Prophecy intervenes with the case of the one called the Purple Thief, it reveals a possible dark threat lurking within the palace involving a most hated rival. Will he be willing to sacrifice everything for the purple-eyed beauty even if it may be his life? Received an Honorable Mention Award from The BookFest Fall 2023 Contest. Her entire life has been planned out by her stepmother, and even that hag can't control everything Ella does. To put it simply, Ella believes she has complete command over her own life. Of course, all good things must come to an end. Debts must be repaid one way or another - something Ella is willing to do on her own. Soon, even she can't deny that there must be some greater power pushing her into the lives of Lord Anthony, and his lovely little niece, Mary. With dark games and questionable decisions, can Ella face her own fate? Or will she crumble under the weight of her own choices?
