Some months ago I received a letter from my late great-grandfather about inheriting his old villa out in the country and I planned on moving out on my own this is perfect timing. Even though I knew basically nothing of my great-grandfather as he was always so mysterious and reclusive.

Living on my own and venturing into new places has been one of my dreams and I couldn't contain my excitement and learning about my mysterious great-grandfather. And a chance to make new friends is always a plus.

Amidst cleaning out the old home I found a very strange book in the attic. With a very unique design about it and a note from my great-grandfather placed next to it.

The next thing I knew before waking up I see a pair of yellow eyes staring down at me. Blonde hair, snow white skin, rosy cheeks, wearing a suit and top hat with an apple on it. With a toothy grin that looked happy to see me. Like an old friend?

He's popular. I have one friend. He's outgoing. I'm quiet. He has a girlfriend. I'm alone. I'm shy and he's purely arrogant. But they say like forces repel and opposites attract. And we're complete opposites. ════════ "Hello, my name is Juliette Hunter and I think you're an asshole" I said to him, turning my body away so I could, once again, try and grab the book I so desperately needed. "Your turn" I added, after a moment of silence, realising that he was too stunned to speak. His recovery was lightning fast however, as he replied with "Hi Juliette, my name is Levi Knight" He paused, allowing his eyes to roam my body, slowly taking me in from head to toe. I looked him in the eyes, defiant in not allowing him to get to me, as my cheeks began to burn. "And I think you could qualify as one of the most beautiful girls I have ever laid eyes on" he continued smoothly. I couldn't think of a smart remark in response to what he had said so I mumbled a "fuck off" before returning to the bookshelf, I was sure my face turned crimson. "Just out of curiosity," Levi continued, now leaning against the bookshelf. I wasn't going to warn him about the fact that it was slowly tipping over. "You're single right?" I wasn't going to tell him that his assumption offended me either. Instead I replied with "Just out of curiosity" I said in a mocking tone "You're single now too, aren't you?" "You're a feisty one, aren't you?" "You're not gonna leave me alone, are you?" I muttered, attempting once more, to grab the book I so badly needed for English. "You're really hot, you know?" "You're really annoying, you know?"

Take a ride with Iris on this beautiful journey, where she learns to live with her past, an hopefully discovers secrets that help her find who she truly is. I sat over the boundary wall thinking all this all by to myself. Sitting on the terrace alone with those thoughts, was the only time I could be myself. Suddenly there was a thud. I was startled but held on firmly. No one is supposed to know I am here, what if they find out.. what will I do.......... I had no answers. With fear I turned around expecting someone familiar, someone who discovered me,my place and waiting for that nagging voice. But what I found was a guy, an unfamiliar face, which brought to me a feeling of relief. But at the same time I felt a strange sensation, feeling I don't know afraid. The guy, clad in yellow shirt and sweatpants, with messy jet black hair, and pretty eyes looking at me with a questionable look. I don't know just what to say. I am feeling I am being interrogated, but how can there be such an effect just with one expression? I mean I should be the one with questions, after all this rather unknown potentially dangerous guy just somehow jumps to my terrace and instead of giving an apology looks at me with those questionable eyes. I wonder who the hell he thinks he... "Ummm... Are u all right miss?"
