And lately it seemed to be doing just that.

Slipping right through Penelope Carter's grasp the moment her sister popped back into her life.

When well hidden secrets are revealed by those closest to her, Penelope is coerced into helping with the classified Super Soldier Program.

Her exhaustingly routine way of existence is flipped on it's head when a kickass Agent, a wealthy womanizer, and a scrawny guy from Brooklyn all manage to accidentally find their way into her heart.

Rosemary Carter, the younger sister of Margaret, or better known as Peggy Carter, had enlisted herself in the army as a nurse for two reasons only. One, to help heal and bring some sorts of comfort to the soldiers that were wounded, and two, to be next to her sister Peggy. Especially when none other than Captain America resurfaces and Clara has to deal with Phil's incessant fangirling. But something's up. Why does Captain America know her name when they've never met before? Clara knew Steve Roger's arrival would change everything but she never thought it would change for the worst. Her boss is shot by a rogue asgardian prince- great. Then Clara is suddenly dragged back into the field again- even better. She had kept a low profile for two years yet they'd found her again. The man who she hadn't seen since her accident, since he shot her and left her for dead; the man with the metal arm. So Clara did what she had been trained to do: go and hide in a S.H.I.E.L.D safehouse until the threat was gone. It just so happens that the nearest safehouse contains more secrets than Clara was willing to uncover. To get to the bottom of all the Captain America nonsense and whoever this metal armed assassin is, she'd have to go back in time. And we all know that's not possible. Right?
