Max Huntsman was the youngest child and only son of Jonathan and Ruby Huntsman. Both of his parents were sorted into Slytherin during their time at Hogwarts. As was his older sister, Amelia, a Slytherin.

When the time comes for Max to attend Hogwarts, he does not in fact get sorted into Slytherin.

Instead he is a proud Gryffindor. Just like his new best friends. James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew.

Throughout his school years, Max pulls pranks and causes all sorts of mischief. However, he also realizes that he may be even more different than his family then he first thought.

Especially considering his best friend keeps claiming to be in love with him and asking him out. Ever since the start of second year.
