This is the climax of a personal project still in the works, I play the origins mod in MC and this is the main part of my characters backstory as my mind has thought of it. The main character is written from my rp POV, and so its in first person, and the main character is nonbinary natural female. Feel free to comment and give me notes on how to improve, this is my first post lol.

Have you ever felt like you don't belong? Like this place you're in doesn't feel right? Like you should be somewhere else entirely? This isn't right... Are you supposed to be able to fell a tree with your fists? Are you supposed to be able to pick up little blocks in place of normal items? Are the dead supposed to rise and walk the lands? Is that tall, lanky monster with glowing purple eyes that teleports around normal? Is any of this normal? This just isn't right... Should I be here? Well, at least I'm not stuck here alone. With them... it feels less like a prison. They make this place more bearable. In a world that feels anything but normal, at least they can make me feel normal. Y/N is a young, 16 year old kid. Their parents never got along very well, and Y/N would tune into Twitch streams or watch YouTube videos of their favorite MCYTs to drown out their parents fights, or to just pass the time. Y/N absolutely adored the Dream SMP and it's lore more than anything. However, Y/N was in a car accident with their parents, which resulted in their death, and Y/N's broken leg. Y/N was put into a foster system and bounced many homes within just a year. 27 homes to be exact. When Y/N was put into the foster system, their phone was shut off as nobody was able to pay for it anymore. This resulted in Y/N not being able to watch their comfort streamers anymore, which led Y/N into a depression-like state. Y/N's comfort streamers were the reason why Y/N hadn't took their own life. The people Y/N enjoyed watching the most was some people named Dream, Ranboo, Phil, Technoblade, and Wilbur Soot. Technoblade or Ranboo was probably their all-time favorite though. After all of this time, Y/N has mostly forgotten what all of the MCYTs look like, sound like, and even their names. One day, when Y/N is back in the place where all the kids wait to he fostered or adopted, two men walk in looking for a kid. No specific gender, race, or body type. Just a good kid. Y/N figures they're a lost cause since the staff kept telling the men how much of a 'rebellious little brat' they were, but then the men started talking with Y/N.
