Back in 1980, a famous writer named Maya Ambrose found out that she was suffering from cancer. She was informed that she only had a year before the earth ate her body away. Maya decided to leave the big city of New York and went back to the small town she used to grow up in, a small town located in Prince Edward Island. She came across new things in life and wrote a book about her adventure throughout a year in the small town, her last book. Despite that, meeting August Green the town caretaker wasn't a part of her plan. They somehow get along and August helps Maya to fulfill her wishes. Days passed, from the first wish and finally, Maya's last wish, to grow a hundred tulips. However, the clock is ticking, and due to the uncertain weather on the island, they failed to grow a hundred tulips. August promised to fulfill Maya's last wish no matter how long it took him to. A grave full of tulips.
