To join, or not to join, that is, the question.
Earthpaw feels misunderstood, jealous, and angry. He's an awesome apprentice, constantly working and training. However, every cat seems to like his sisters more. Snowpaw is a medicine cat apprenctice, and Leafpaw is a cheerful, funny cat. How come nobody can see his worth? All except for Sparkpaw. She's his best friend, always training and talking with him. One night, he winds up in the Dark Forest. One cat tells him that if he trains with him, all of ThunderClan will respect and value him. Earthpaw tells Sparkpaw, and she is horrified. She tells him that the Dark Forest is for the evilest of cats, those who have murdered in cold-blood and have broken the code. Outwardly, he dismisses her concern, but deep down, he has his concerns. But what if training there really accomplishes his dream?
