Philip Edgar Roberts , a typical boy who lives in a peaceful town but a treacherous home somewhere in Apple Street, Maple Grove, Minnesota, will finally go to high school, a seemingly mature and a refreshing school year, well for some people, but not for him.

It wasn't until one day the school decided to create an activity where two people are assigned together and are required to switch households, and Phil is partnered with Araya Andersen, the person he dislikes a lot because of her insufferable yet intimidating behavior, little does he know that as the activity goes on waves of experiences and morals flows through him, as if he's listening to a playlist on shuffle.
