𝕃𝕠𝕧𝕖 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕒𝕗𝕗𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 (wlw)

•Girlfriends (Mia & Reya) are having problems and try to maintain their relationship. Mia is taking college classes while battling depression while Reya works 3 jobs and recovers from her second relapse.

•Mia is 19 and in her second year of college. She studies nursing at Duke University with a scholarship. She grew up with her grandma in Atlanta, Georgia and her older brother (Jamal) who serves in the Marines. Her mother and father passed away in a fatal car crash when she was 8. She was raised in an stable environment even though she didn't have a lot of money.

•Reya is a 21 yo high school drop out. She grew up in North Carolina where she lived with her mom who was a drug addict and abusive. She never stayed in one place long, since her mother had a new man every other week. She ran away from home and started her own life, working multiple jobs. She uses weed and pills to keep her from burning out. After her second relapse she has stopped taking pills.

•They met while Mia was working on an essay for school in a cafe that Reya works in. Reya stayed all night even after her shift to give Mia free drinks and pastries. Mia left while Reya went to make her another drink and left her number on a napkin. Ever since then they've been in love. They currently live together in a studio apartment in North Carolina and own a Grey Volkswagen GTI.
