Raven could still vividly remember the day she lost her mother and her world had shattered into pieces. Her mother was everything to her. But one day, she was gone. With her father not in the picture and no other family to turn to, Raven was left in the care of her aunt Rose. Rose was never able to fill the void that her mother's absence had left. And just when Raven thought nothing could get worse, her older brother Ace left her too. Those were the darkest days of her life. Raven felt lost and alone. She promised herself that she would make something of her life. Raven jumped at the chance for a fresh start. Her aunt Rose helped her move to America, a place where she could start anew. However, just as Raven thought she had left her past behind, her nightmares returned. She dreamt of her mother's death every night. She tried to brush it off as just a side effect of her past trauma. And then, out of nowhere, Raven received a message from her brother Ace. After all these years. Raven was hesitant at first. But what she didn't expect was to meet Blake and Ash - two mysterious men who claimed to be her bodyguards. They were both handsome and charming, but Raven couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something different about them. As it turns out, Blake and Ash were both supernatural with extraordinary abilities. As Raven delved deeper into the world of supernatural, she discovered that she too had abilities of her own. She just like her mother. But that also meant she was a target for the dark supernatural who wanted to use her as a weapon. But now, with her father growing stronger and a war looming on the horizon, Ace had returned to enlist Raven's help in the fight against them. Raven was torn between her duty to her family and her newfound love, who had been her constant companion and protector. Raven had to make a choice - to follow in her mother's footsteps and fight for the light or to succumb to the darkness just like her father

Annabeth Swan was the older sister of Isabella Swan. Unlike her sister, Annabeth wasn't upset with the idea of moving to Forks to live with their father. Annabeth had continued to visit him every year near Christmas, unlike her sister, so she and her dad had a bond. Annabeth was different from her sister, she wasn't as awkward and clumsy. She was strong-willed and charismatic. She had a few friends at Forks High School, so when they finally went to school, it wasn't as awkward for her as it was for her little sister. As Bella got wrapped up in the Cullen family, Anna stayed away from them. The family tried to include her, because Alice knew that Anna had a mate, but Anna just wasn't one to encourage such fantasies as Bella was. It was Bella that told her about vampires, and that was when Anna's world changed forever. Hidden in the shadows was a blonde vampire. He wasn't like the Cullens, meaning he wasn't a "vegetarian." He killed for his food, but he also simply liked the fight that everyone put up before they died. It was fun, but when he entered Forks, something was different. There was a scent he just couldn't shake, and Victoria could tell that something was up with him. She and Laurent were both curious, but Victoria quickly became jealous, especially once they figured out where the scent was coming from. The scent was a human, and the human was James's mate. Victoria was not happy, and she tried to force herself closer to James, but she didn't quite get what she wanted, and she truly wanted him to feel her pain...
