It's been a long time since that fateful day when they met for the first time. It's been so long. She was right there but never close enough.

Never close enough.

Why?

His mind and heart were never in alignment when it came to matter of love and romance.

He was cold, as cold as they got. Reserved, and so hidden in the shadows that sometimes even he was lost for his own being.

He couldn't blame her for not wanting him like he had desired and dreamed of. But could this man really be patient enough to wait any longer.

The strongest and the Almighty who excelled at everything, anything he touched would turn to gold.

He had everything, yet he had nothing.
He didn't have her.

Not yet, but soon he will.

❝𝑰 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒔𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒕 𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏❞ "Did you...?" The sorceress let out a breath, words coming out jumbled. "Did you mean any of what you said, at the bar? About me not being... wanted." Mikazuki turned to him, her golden eyes so clear he could almost see his reflection. The silence between the two sharpened, a sudden weight and electricity filling his veins while she waited patiently. He'd said those things in haste, poisoned by The Beldam's influence but, even then, a part of it had come from him; from his insecurities and his fears. It wasn't a reflection of who she was, but a reflection of the kind of person he'd become. Gojo's resolve faltered, gaze flickering down to Mikazuki's lips for a brief second before he caught himself. "I want you." Satoru confessed before his brain got the opportunity to catch up to his mouth. - Gojo Satoru was the strongest sorcerer alive. Kinzoku Mikazuki was the spare. Two incredibly powerful sorcerers discovering what the real meaning of 'equal' is while dismantling the world of jujutsu, one sorcerer at a time. - ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ꜱᴄʜᴇᴅᴜʟᴇ: ᴡᴇᴅɴᴇꜱᴅᴀʏ & ꜱᴜɴᴅᴀʏ ᴄʀᴏꜱꜱᴘᴏꜱᴛᴇᴅ ᴏɴ ᴀᴏ3 - ʙᴏᴏᴋ ᴠɪ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒔𝒖𝒈𝒊 ꜱᴇʀɪᴇꜱ

Gojo Satoru never fell in love. Yes, there were flings and countless hookups, yet there was never a sense of promise or faithfulness in the air. Every women he had met in the club either wound up getting fucked to sleep, with him disappearing the next morning, or receiving a number that they would text, to which there would never be a reply... until a few weeks after saying something like hey, my place tonight? x or the other. All of this would end at an art exhibition in Tokyo. "You ain't even ask for my name, Shades," the woman murmured, hands now behind her back. Oooookayy. Gojo nervously chuckled, feeling the red creep up on his cheeks. "I was just about to do that, Miss..." "Y/n. It's L/n Y/n." She fluffed her hair. "And I moved here a month ago." Her sudden coldness was a shock to Gojo. Yes, plenty of his past flings had played a game of hard to get, yet he'd never met a woman so... uninterested?
