La princesa ha estado alejada del palacio por varios años ya. Mientras tanto, su madrastra se ha ocupado de la política del reino satisfactoriamente, pero guarda el pronóstico de la princesa con celosía. 

Se rumorea que la princesa fue víctima de una maldición, y que aguarda custodiada por criaturas mágicas hasta hallar la cura definitiva para su mal.
