Static filled Myra's mind, and she floated through her days. The burns and scars on her finger tips told secrets she wasn't ready to let free. It didn't ground her. Nothing really did, not anymore. But it kept her in the moment, it kept her from drifting too far.
Hassian would rather she find something less harmful to keep her from drifting, though.
