It's been eighteen years since the bloodiest war the kingdom of Belleverre has ever known. The country and its people were decimated by its former ally, the Kingdom of the Gold Mines. For eighteen years Queen Ana has been rebuilding and securing the country and raising her daughter, the beautiful and stubborn Princess Belissima, to one day rule.

It is now four weeks until the Princess turns eighteen - two years into her adult life and of an age to take the throne in her own right. 
But is she willing to do what she must to strengthen Belleverre's precarious position, and make an eligible marriage with a neighbouring kingdom? Or will the famously volatile Princess devise her own way, potentially ruining her beloved Belleverre in the process?

This fantasy is inspired by Madame d'Aulnoy's classic fairytale The Yellow Dwarf.
