"Meredith, did you not hear the doctor? If you continue this pregnancy, you could die, " Derek said softly, tears filled his eyes at the thought of losing love of his life.
"It doesn't matter," Meredith says, reaching up and caressing his face. "We're going to have this baby." She was smiling as if she hadn't heard what he said at all.
They should be happy. They were happy; one moment, Meredith and Derek were celebrating that she's pregnant after months of struggling to convince, and the next moment, they find out some unsettling news.... If they continue the pregnancy, there's a chance that the baby could die, and so could Meredith.
Story takes place in early season 7, so no Zola or the Alzheimer's Clinical Trial storyline. Also, there will be no plane crash because I need Slexie around.
