Orphaned as an infant cub, Lei was raised in Mr. Ping's noodle shop by her adoptive father named Ping and her adoptive brother named Po. As she grows up, Lei helps her family by cooking or handing noodles to customers. Lei and Po both love kung fu, especially the furious five. When news announced that the dragon warrior and jade warrior will be chosen, they head out to the Jade Palace to see who they were only to arrive a little late. After they finally entered the arena unexpectedly, they were now chosen as the two warriors which Shifu and the furious five aren't really impressed. Now Po and Lei must train themselves to become the dragon warrior and jade warrior in order to defeat the evil and all powerful Tai Lung.

Now it's up to Po, Sonic, and the Furious Five as they must travel to Gongmen City and stop Shen and his weapon. But how can Po and Sonic stop a weapon that can stop Kung Fu? They will need to figure that out when they also rediscover and come to terms with their forgotten past, uncover the secrets of their mysterious origins, how they met each other, and learn that Shen was their enemy in their infancy; only then will they be able to unlock the strength they need to succeed.
