For my American Lit & Comp class I had to write a more modernized version of Walt Whitman's "I, too". The main point was that it was about modern America, and whilst thinking about what I wanted to write I realized that it had to be exclusive to " the American experience" but in no way "the American dream." Therefore, I wrote about one of our most pressing issues because why not. I hope you like it :]
