Alex DeMarcus just moved halfway across the country to a new school about a month ago, which was just around the time of the beginning of the school year. He's starting to make friends, but nobody knows too much about him. He has heard some stuff about the kids at his new school and how they like to act. He decided he wanted to see if this was actually true. So he decided he was going to 'come out' as gay and see how everyone responded and treated him. He wasn't going to tell anyone about this. Not his parents. Not his best friend. Not a single soul would know about this experiment except for Alex. Alex has an expectation of how this will probably go, but what he doesn't realize is how wrong he really was in the end.
