"You see, unfortunately EHS doesn't actually have a girls team... " Principal Stevens explained, looking uncomfortable. "We're talking about you joining the boys team." Coach stated, as if it made complete sense. I nearly choked on my coffee. "Sorry, what?" I spluttered. *** When Alex Martinez moves schools for her senior year and ends up on the boys soccer team, she has to deal with a moody captain, bitchy cheerleaders, and the constant battle to not hook up with her teammates. All she wants is to make it through high school drama-free and get a soccer scholarship into college. But can it really be that simple? *Updated weekly*

Evie is an introvert who just wants to focus on her studies and keep her life simple. Alex is the outgoing, charming soccer star everyone loves, especially his teammates and classmates. When they get paired together for a year-long project in their major, sparks fly, but mostly the annoying kind. At first, they can barely stand each other. Evie resents Alex's easy confidence and endless energy, while Alex struggles to understand Evie's quiet world. But as deadlines loom and late nights in the library pile up, they start to see the person beneath the surface. Slowly, coffee runs, shared laughs, and late-night study sessions turn into something neither expected. Yet, between soccer games, work shifts, and busy schedules, they're forced to find a fragile balance, and maybe, just maybe, a chance for more than just a project partnership. Can two people so different learn to trust each other and discover what it really means to be a team?
