Alastor stopped his stirring, and glanced over his shoulder, scrutinizing the Angel with a dangerous gaze. Despite the fact that Lucifer could easily beat Alastor's ass in less than a minute without even lifting a finger, something about the deer made him nervous at times.

Alastor's smile appeared more sharp than usual, but he eventually turned back to the stove to continue his cooking. After what felt like an eternity of awkward silence, he joyfully replied, "Jambalaya! My mother showed me this recipe when I was a young lad and I've been making it since, she was the best cook I could ever know!" Though Lucifer could not see his face, he could have sworn that Alastor almost sounded wistful.

Alastor's where abouts were not mentioned in episode 6, and neither were Lucifer's. What if they were both at the hotel together that night?

The extermination has passed, and the hotel has been rebuilt with symbolism pertaining to the two most powerful beings in Hell. Alastor and Lucifer. The two have never seen eye to eye ever in the short amount of time of being around each other. But as the chaos melted into a calm breeze of change, Lucifer begins to notice the odd behaviors of his daughter's companion as he is now placing some distance between himself and the rest of the hotel staff and crew. And he can't help but wonder as to who this radio demon appears to be. Meanwhile, Alastor is struggling with his open wound from Adam's blade as it just refuses to heal entirely. And he does his best to hide it from the others, of course only two people know of the wound as he can't hide its smell from Husk or Nifty. Husk had even warned him before over his arrogance, not to sound disrespectful but to truly help him. Now that he's injured Husk reminds him of his stance as another demon that walks among the fold whether he likes it or not. But once th King takes notice of his vulnerability he has no choice but to rely on his assistance all while breaking down his carefully placed walls that were meant to not only harm and save him, but also to save the king and Charlie as well.
