kyu is makaan ko ghar kaha jata hai
ghar toh waha hota hai na jahan sukoon hota hai
makaan ko ghar banane mein ek arsa nikal jata hai
kya kabhi puchha hai khudse "ye ghar, tumhe ghar lagta hai?"
ghar mein jab log hee nafrat karein
kya kabhi puchha hai khudse "ye ghar tumhe kyu itna khali khali lagta hai?"
kyu sehem si jati ho tum, ye ghar chhodne ke naam se
kya khudse puchha hai kabhi "ki tumhe ye ghar lagta bhi hai?"
ya sirf dusro ko na chhodne ke darr se sehem jati ho
khudse bhi puchhlo ki tum kya chahati ho

किस गुल से हुस्न टपकता है किस खुश्ब की रवानी रहती है तेरे नर्म होंठो की अरक हर गुलशन की कहानी कहती है ........ (जब सहबा ए कुहन....) और जबसे सुना है उनके खयालात हमारी कब्र को लेकर जनाब! हमें तो अब मरने से भी मोहब्बत हो गई ...... (मोहब्बत हो गई...) इस्तिहारा करूं, इस्तिखारा करूं तू फिर मिले तो मैं इश्क दोबारा करूं ...... (तू फिर मिले...) फिर अंधेरों में नए शफ़क की तलाश है फिर नया दिन नए सफर की तलाश है ...... (तलाश है....) . इश्क़ मेरा हिकायत-ए-मग़्मूम तो नहीं? मेरी जां हमारा इश्क़ कोई जुल्म तो नहीं? ....... (इश्क़ मेरा....)
