Everyone has problems that they don't and don't want to tell other people but are visible in the eyes. Kai is used to living a life that just follows the flow of life because she knows that she can the type that will just cry for a while and after crying she will fight life again. even though she has strict parents and siblings who pressure her. She is brave and chooses to be brave despite having that kind of state in the family.
Until he meets Clyde, her classmate who is calm and quiet and stands for something in life. That will teach her that she can share thoughts or troubles in her mind, problems that cannot be said, words he wants to say and convey. Because of that help she will learn have confidence to communicate with other people.
But sometimes there are still parts of us that will be difficult and we will be tired to understand and say so we make mistakes that we regret in the end.

Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either.
