Just Being Us

Lacey Brooks is finally at a good place in her life. Her grades are pretty good except for that C in math, but let's be real that's pretty good considering. She has a good relationship with her mom, and she is surrounded by the best friends anyone could ask for. She's been dating Dean for almost a year, and is floating on cloud nine. She's almost done with her first novel, and is hoping to send a manuscript to a publisher in New York. But life doesn't always go as planned, and she didn't anticipate the summer that followed the last day of school.
